Job summary

Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Senior Piping Designer for a remote role, supporting a Cincinnati, OH-based global engineering and professional services firm. The contractor will oversee piping design across state-of-the-art industrial and pharmaceutical facilities.

You will mentor other professionals, manage schedule and technical quality, review vendor drawings, and develop design estimates while collaborating with multi-office teams.

Qualifications

• AA degree in CAD/Design or similar technical degree.
• At least 15 years of piping design experience.
• Advanced knowledge of piping design in 2D/3D modeling software (Hexagon Smartplant S3D, Autodesk Plant 3D).

Responsibilities

• Manage schedule and technical quality of assigned routine engineering tasks.
• Understand client’s expectations, scope, budget, and earned value for assigned tasks.
• Lead projects with multi-office execution and communicate scope/design changes.
• Review vendor drawings, execute piping engineering design, and develop design estimates.
• Mentor other professionals within a multi-discipline team.

Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Senior Piping Designer for a Remote position with a Global Engineering and Professional Services Firm located in Cincinnati, OH. This is a contract opportunity.

This role involves working on state-of-the-art industrial and pharmaceutical facility projects. The successful candidate will be accountable for the schedule and technical quality of engineering tasks, review vendor drawings, execute piping engineering design, and mentor other professionals within a multi-discipline, highly interactive team.

Responsibilities

• Manage schedule and technical quality of assigned routine engineering tasks
• Understand client’s expectations, scope, budget, and earned value for assigned tasks
• Lead projects with multi-office execution and effectively recognize and communicate scope and design changes
• Review vendor drawings, execute piping engineering design, and develop design estimates
• Utilize technical expertise to mentor other professionals

Requirements

• Associate’s degree (AA) in Computer Aided Drafting and Design or similar technical degree
• At least 15 years of piping design experience
• Advanced working knowledge of piping design in 2D/3D modeling software such as Hexagon Smartplant S3D, Autodesk Plant 3D

Pay Range:
