Job summary

KBR ISA (Integrated Solutions Americas) seeks a CATS & SPECS Piping Designer to develop and administer piping catalogs and specifications within AVEVA E3D or equivalent 3D design platforms.

The role emphasizes data integrity across projects, collaboration with engineering, procurement, and design teams, and leadership in catalog/specification management to drive standardization and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of piping catalogs/specs experience on industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of piping standards (ASME/ASTM).
• Experience with AVEVA E3D Catalogs & Specifications.
• Ability to lead data management across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and administer piping catalogs and specifications within the project's 3D design environment.
• Configure and manage piping component data, specifications, and engineering standards to support project execution.
• Ensure consistency and quality of catalog and specification data across projects and disciplines.
• Create and maintain piping class libraries, component attributes, and reference data.
• Coordinate with Piping Engineering, Materials Management, Procurement, and Project Design teams to ensure accurate implementation of project requirements.
• Support setup, validation, and troubleshooting of piping specifications within E3D or equivalent 3D design systems.
• Develop and implement best practices for catalog and specification management.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to designers and project personnel regarding catalog and specification development.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to piping data management and 3D design workflows.
