Job summary

NV Energy is seeking a skilled Pipeline Technician to work on our extensive natural gas pipeline system across the United States. The ideal candidate will have technical expertise in pipeline operations, corrosion protection, and mechanical maintenance.

This position involves performing preventative maintenance, operating various tools, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards. Candidates should have an Associate's degree in a relevant field and experience in the industry. Overtime and emergency response availability are required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in technical specialization preferred.
• 4-6 years of related progressive work experience if education requirements are not met.
• Completion of Pipeline Technician Academy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on operational equipment.
• Recognize abnormal operating conditions.
• Support emergency response and locate pipelines.
