Job summary

The Woodlands, TX-based WHC Energy Services is seeking a Senior Pipeline Estimator to prepare detailed estimates for pipeline projects and support bid strategies.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering and at least 5 years in estimating or project management, with experience in MS Project, P6 or TILOS, and strong MS Office skills. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering required.
• Minimum of 5 years’ related estimating or project management experience.
• Experience with pipeline projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates for pipeline projects and assist in bid strategy.
• Attend pre-job meetings on site and coordinate with PMs and management.
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and documents to estimate time, costs, materials and labor.
• Conduct bid reviews and develop backup documentation for bids.
• Maintain estimating databases and assist in tool development and system modifications.
• Communicate with Estimating Manager, PMs and Superintendents on bid strategy and buy-out.
