Job summary

Corvant is seeking a Pipefitting/Welding Superintendent II to oversee installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of complex piping systems on commercial and industrial projects. Travel is required.

This advanced role requires strong technical expertise, independence, and collaboration with project leaders to ensure timely, high-quality project delivery. Ideal candidates have 6+ years in pipefitting and mastery of MIG/TIG/Stick welding with leadership experience on site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification or licensure as a pipefitter preferred.
• 6–7+ years of progressive pipefitting experience in commercial or industrial construction.
• Mastery of welding, system design interpretation, and advanced troubleshooting.
• Proven leadership ability to manage teams and oversee job site operations.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred; excellent written and verbal communication in English required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation of complex piping systems on commercial and industrial projects.
• Perform advanced welding (MIG, TIG, Stick), threading, and system alignments.
• Lead troubleshooting and repair of system issues, including leaks, blockages, and malfunctions.
• Conduct and oversee pressure testing for system integrity.
• Coordinate with project managers, foremen, and other trades to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Manage workflow, assign tasks, and oversee productivity on job sites.
• Represent pipefitting discipline in project planning and safety meetings.
• Uphold the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and safety in all work.
