Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Install, assemble, maintain, and repair mechanical piping systems campus-wide.
  • Read, interpret, and work from drawings, schematics, and technical docs.
  • Perform hot work, including welding and oxy/acetylene cutting with certifiable welds.
  • Inspect, test, and maintain piping control systems and instrumentation; conduct pressure tests.
  • Operate machine tools and maintenance equipment as needed.
  • Collaborate with engineering, custodial, and other trades staff for projects.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, codes, and environmental rules.
  • Maintain records of work orders, materials, and inspections.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
