Qualifications

• Experience installing and assembling metal or nonmetal pipes and fittings.
• Ability to read job specifications and select appropriate pipe sizes and supports.
• Familiarity with safety rules, PPE, and on-site rigging procedures.

Responsibilities

• Select pipe type/size and materials per specs.
• Inspect worksite for obstructions and plan sequence of installation.
• Cut, thread, bend, and assemble pipes with appropriate joints.
• Mount hangers, brackets, and supports to structures.
• Install/refrigeration and HVAC piping and controls.
• Test piping systems for leaks and integrity.
