Job summary

Kinectrics in Naperville, IL is seeking an experienced Engineer for Pipe Stress Analysis to design and analyze existing power plants and new systems. You will lead multidisciplinary project teams, perform calculations, develop isometrics, and mentor junior engineers. The ideal candidate should have 5–10 years of relevant experience, a BS in Mechanical or Civil Engineering, and knowledge of AutoPIPE and SuperPipe. Qualifications

• Minimum of 5–10 years piping/mechanical design experience with focus on pipe stress analysis projects.
• Professional Engineering License preferred.
• Strong computer knowledge of CAD software.

Responsibilities

• Design and analysis of changes to existing power plants and new plant systems.
• Lead design engineering efforts on multi-disciplined project design teams.
• Provide technical support for field execution including outage/turnaround projects.
