Actalent in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Mechanical / Piping Engineer Pipe Stress Specialist to perform advanced pipe stress analysis for power, petrochemical, and construction projects. You will use CAESAR II or Autopipe, design pipe supports, and prepare calculations and stress reports.

The role requires reading isometrics, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and traveling to sites as needed. This is a Contract to Hire position with a competitive hourly rate and full benefits.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, industrial, chemical, or petroleum engineering from an accredited program.
• Experience with pipe stress analysis in power, petrochemical, or construction environments.
• Familiarity with pipe specifications, valve specs, and piping materials.

Responsabilidades

• Perform detailed pipe stress analysis per piping codes (B31.1, B31.3).
• Use CAESAR II and/or Autopipe to evaluate stresses and displacements.
• Design pipe supports, spring hangers, and expansion joints.
