Job summary

Danone USA is seeking a dedicated pilot plant technician to assist with day-to-day pilot operations and small-scale experiments. You will work with R&I scientists to ensure accurate trial products and robust data collection.

The role emphasizes safety, GMP compliance, and the ability to troubleshoot equipment while maintaining thorough records and contributing to process improvements across multiple product types. Hybrid work arrangement offered.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in food science or related field.
• Minimum 4 years in food & beverage manufacturing operations.
• Basic understanding of food safety and handling procedures.
• Basic understanding of lab safety rules and procedures.
• Ability to read and analyze experimental and process designs to reach a desired outcome.
• Ability to write and communicate observations and test summaries.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain pilot plant equipment.
• Maintain safe, clean work environment and follow GMP rules.
• Lead cross-training for pilot plant technicians.
• Support R&I in experiments and record results.
• Process and summarize trial results with recommendations.
• Support scheduling and equipment operations as needed.
