Job summary

Medix™ seeks an experienced Principal Investigator (MD or DO) to lead clinical research operations at our Gilbert, AZ site. The PI will oversee active industry-sponsored trials focused on liver and metabolic health, ensuring regulatory compliance and patient safety.

This is a full-time, on-site leadership role with potential for part-time clinical practice time through an affiliated gastroenterology practice for GI/Hepatology backgrounds. Morning fasting visits are typical.

Qualifications

• MD or DO required.
• Experience as PI on at least 5 clinical studies.
• Medical oversight experience in trials.
• On-site Gilbert, AZ for full-time employment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Principal Investigator with trial integrity and safety.
• Provide medical oversight per GCP, FDA, IRB.
• Supervise Sub-Investigators and coordinators.
• Review documentation and adverse events.
• Oversee patient visits during morning fasting windows.
• Facilitate transition with retiring PI.
