Job summary

The Mom Project, partnering with a boutique law firm, seeks a skilled Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal in San Mateo, CA. This full-time role requires 5+ years of civil litigation experience, including personal injury, and involves supporting attorneys through intake to trial.

Responsibilities include client communications, drafting and filing litigation documents, organizing records, and maintaining case calendars. Strong organizational skills and independence are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in civil litigation, personal injury experience required.
• Understanding of California state-court procedures and deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and polished work product.

Responsibilities

• Support attorneys from intake through trial.
• Communicate with clients, medical providers, experts, counsel, and court personnel.
• Draft, format, file or serve pleadings, discovery, subpoenas, and other documents.
• Organize medical, billing, and employment records; gather evidence.
• Prepare discovery responses and assist with document production.
• Maintain case calendars and monitor deadlines.
• Summarize medical records and depositions; assist with depositions and trial prep.
• Maintain organized electronic case files.
