Job description

Responsibilities:

• To do treatment planning for external beam radiotherapy and brachytherapy.
• To discuss clinical cases with the consultant on treatment plans and techniques.
• To perform output measurements, calibrations and quality assurance on relevant machine related to radiotherapy equipment periodically
• To review daily QA procedure performed by Radiation Therapist
• To supervise the radiation therapists to ensure that they perform their duties in accordance to the standards required of them and that they observe the radiation safety rules.
• Assist in ensuring the PMIs of the radiotherapy equipment are done as per schedule and all test reports of equipment maintenance are reviewed
• Assist in frontline troubleshooting for all therapy related machines and service engineer coordination
• Assist in the MOH and NEA regulatory compliance Assist department quality/safety project(s).

Requirements:

• Masters/Degree in Medical Physics (Radiation Therapy) or equivalent
• Preferably with at least 5 years of relevant experience
