Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Physician Coding Manager to provide day-to-day oversight of Physician Multispecialty Coding teams and to manage coding projects across clinical specialties. You will ensure workflows are documented and the coding staff is trained to meet client and internal metrics.

This role requires CPC certification, 7+ years of medical coding experience, and proven ability to lead large teams (20+ coders).

Qualifications

• CPC certification from AAPC is required.
• 7+ years of medical coding experience.
• Experience managing large projects with 20+ coders.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day oversight of Physician Multispecialty Coding teams.
• Manage Physician Coding Projects.
• Ensure workflows are properly documented and coding team is trained accordingly.
• Prepare reports for leadership and client tracking toward metrics.
