Job summary

RemoteFetch seeks a Physician Advisor II to lead and mentor the Physician Advisor team, overseeing case reviews, utilization management, and quality across PAOC. You will collaborate with hospital medical staff leadership to optimize resource use, ensure appropriate levels of care, and improve documentation and coding accuracy.

You will mentor physicians, support payer requirements, participate in peer review, maintain licensure and board certification, and manage client relationships with PAOC

Qualifications

• Specialty Board Certified.
• Licensed to practice medicine in the US.
• 3+ years as Physician Advisor or UR/UM Medical Director.
• Proficient with EMR systems and Microsoft Office/Teams.
• Familiarity with utilization management and care optimization.
• Active medical license and board certification.

Responsibilities

• Responds to requests for clinical reviews in a timely manner.
• Provides consultation on complex clinical issues and medical necessity.
• Applies standard criteria (MCG/InterQual) with professional judgment.
• Supports medical staff in clinical progression and documentation.
• Mentors physicians on payer requirements.
• Leads PAOC relations and quarterly reports.
