Job summary

Restore Therapy Services is seeking a Physical Therapist (Full Time - PT) for Aspire at Cahaba. The role provides physical therapy services per the physician’s plan of care, directs treatment, and supervises therapy assistants to ensure coordinated, quality care.

The ideal candidate holds a PT degree from an accredited program, a valid state license, strong communication and organizational skills, and a current driver’s license with insured vehicle.

Qualifications

• Must have a degree from a baccalaureate or Master’s program in physical therapy accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association.
• Hold a valid and current license to practice physical therapy in the state employed.
• Demonstrates good verbal and written communication, and organization skills.
• Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured and may travel.
• If applying for an Outpatient position, you must possess an active AHA CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides physical therapy services to patients according to a physician’s written plan of care, including assessment and development of the plan of care.
• Directs physical therapy treatment and instructs patients and families in use of therapeutic appliances.
• Supervises physical therapy assistants and coordinates with other care team members.
• Prepares and submits clinical and progress summaries; attends meetings and case conferences.
