Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Massachusetts is seeking a Physical Therapist II to deliver advanced evaluation, treatment planning and care for patients across the continuum of inpatient and outpatient settings. You will supervise assistants, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, educate patients and families, document thoroughly, and participate in quality initiatives.

A graduate degree in physical therapy and a current unrestricted MA license are required, with at least two years of clinical

Qualifications

• Must have a graduate of an accredited physical therapy program and current unrestricted license to practice physical therapy in Massachusetts.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience and a proven track record of meeting performance expectations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Administers physical therapy for diverse patient populations across settings.
• Examines needs, develops treatment plans and documents care with clinical detail.
• Delegates caseload to therapists assistants and oversees quality of care.
• Collaborates with team to ensure coverage and equitable work distribution.
• Participates in orientation, training and quality assurance initiatives.
