Job summary

Micron Technology is seeking a Physical Security Specialist for the Longmont, Colorado facility. The role covers day-to-day physical security operations, risk assessments, and investigations, with TSCM expertise to support global security requirements.

You will deploy to other Micron locations as needed and leverage AI-enabled tools for security analysis and reporting. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5+ years of security experience, including formal TSCM

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related discipline.
• Five+ years in physical or technical security environments.
• Formal TSCM training from a recognized program.
• Experience conducting TSCM inspections with professional equipment.
• Experience protecting sensitive verbal communications involving senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary security professional for the Longmont site.
• Oversee access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and visitor management.
• Support contract security operations and monitor guard performance.
• Conduct security investigations and incident response; perform root-cause analyses.
• Identify vulnerabilities and develop mitigation strategies; coordinate with stakeholders.
