Job summary

GALLO is seeking a Senior Physical Security Technician to design, install, maintain and repair technology-based security systems across the organization. You will work hands-on with access control, intrusion and fire alarms, CCTV, cameras and recording devices to protect people, property, and assets.

You will partner with departments, vendors and management to ensure secure operations, troubleshoot issues, and manage preventive maintenance while balancing project work and daily priorities.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 5 years of experience installing and repairing alarm systems, CCTV, and access control.

Responsibilities

  • Design, install, maintain and repair security systems including access control, intrusion alarms, fire alarms, CCTV and related platforms.
  • Troubleshoot systems and perform preventative maintenance; support project planning and execution.
  • Travel up to 5% for onboarding, training, meetings, and events.

A Taste of What You'll Do

Join GALLO's Corporate Security team as a Senior Physical Security Technician, where your technical expertise helps protect people, property, systems, and family residences across the organization. In this hands-on role, you will design, install, maintain, and repair technology-based security systems, including access control, intrusion alarms, fire alarms, closed circuit television systems, cameras, recording devices, and related security platforms.

You will serve as a trusted technical resource for Corporate Security, partnering with departments, vendors, operators, management, company owners, and their families to support safe and reliable security operations. You will troubleshoot systems, manage preventative maintenance, support project planning and execution, and help ensure security technology remains current and effective.

This is a role for someone who enjoys solving technical problems, balancing daily priorities with project work, and taking ownership of work that directly contributes to the safety and security of GALLO's people and assets.

What You'll Need
  • High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 5 years of experience installing and repairing alarm systems, closed circuit television systems and access control systems.
  • Communicates effectively with all personnel, including owners of the Company and their families.
  • Skilled in effectively communicating both verbally and in writing.
  • Required to stand for at least 12 hours per day with minimal breaks.
  • Required to lift and move up to 30 pounds up and down a ladder.
  • Required to work outside year round, for at least 12 hours per day with minimal breaks.
  • Required to operate a company-owned vehicle safely.
  • Skilled in reading, comprehending, interpreting and executing simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
  • Skilled in writing simple correspondence.
  • Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
  • Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

  • We offer a broad salary range to allow for long-term growth. Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by multiple factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed between the entry point and middle of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors. In addition to the salary, this position may be eligible for bonuses, incentive plans, or participate in tasting room tip pools, as applicable.
  • This position will be based in the location(s) specified in the job posting and requires working on-site with no telecommuting option. You will be expected to live within a commutable distance.
