Constellis is seeking a technically capable Physical Security Technology Specialist (PSTS) to support and advance a large-scale physical security environment in San Diego (La Jolla). The role involves designing, building, implementing, and improving security tech across multiple campuses, collaborating with IT, Cybersecurity, and external partners.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience supporting enterprise physical security technologies.
• Experience administering enterprise video management systems.
• Experience supporting Lenel access control platforms.
• Strong understanding of IP-based video systems and networking.
• Ability to independently manage projects, priorities, and technical initiatives.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Serve as the primary technical advisor on the physical security technology stack.
• Act as the principal resource for physical security systems, integrations, architecture, performance, and platform health.
• Develop and maintain operational standards, roadmaps, and system lifecycle plans.
• Manage Milestone XProtect VMS across campuses and integrate with CVEDIA-RT and BriefCam.
• Provide system upgrades, expansions, and migration support with vendors and integrators.
• Coordinate with IT, cybersecurity, and facilities to ensure security objectives are met.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and run proof-of-concept pilots (e.g., drone concepts).
• Maintain camera health, retention policies, and user permissions.
