Job summary

EdgeConneX is seeking a Physical Security Standards & Training Manager in the United States (hybrid). You will own the security standards framework, oversee assurance programs, and deliver on-site training to security personnel on systems like access control and CCTV.

Travel to sites for audits and training will be required. The role reports to the Senior Manager, Global Security Programs, and requires a Bachelor's in a relevant field along with experience designing and running assurance

Qualifications

• Design and run an assurance, audit or compliance program in physical security.
• Experience in the data center or critical infrastructure sector.
• On-site security training delivery experience.
• Experience managing findings to closure.
• Experience directing staff and coordinating vendors.
• Relevant certifications such as CPP/PSP (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Maintain the corporate physical security standards framework and update it as needed.
• Translate policy and regulatory requirements into clear standards and controls.
• Govern document control, review cadence and change management.
• Lead internal assurance audits across sites and functions.
• Deliver on-site training on security standards, systems and processes.
• Coordinate external audits and maintain audit-ready evidence.
