Job summary

The US Senate invites applications for the Physical Security Programs Manager position (#1222). The role leads the Senate's physical security program, coordinating with the Senate Sergeant at Arms, Capitol Police, and congressional staff to implement security improvements.

Qualifications

• Five to eight years of experience in physical security with at least one year in a lead role.
• Knowledge of physical security systems, intrusion detection systems and devices, locks and locking systems, personnel entry control systems, ballistic protection measures, and personnel and asset protection.
• Ability to manage a large-scale, complex physical security program.
• Ability to provide advice and recommendations on physical security measures.
• Ability to lead and manage staff responsible for physical security programs.
• Ability to make high-consequence physical security recommendations and decisions.
• Ability to collaboratively work with multiple stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.
• Ability to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities
