Job summary

Cook & Boardman, LLC seeks a Physical Security Engineer responsible for high-level configuration and integration of access control and IP/analog surveillance systems. They will serve as an escalation point for installations and troubleshooting and act as a technical advisor to clients.

Qualifications

• Certifications in at least three VMS systems.
• Certifications in at least two access control systems.
• Enterprise/advanced-level certification in at least one access control or VMS.
• Two years of experience configuring physical security systems.
• Lead Technician – Physical Security for at least two years.
• Must pass pre-employment background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Configuration of physical security and supporting systems at a high level.
• Programming and commissioning line diagrams and as builts.
• Technical oversight of project engineering and configuration tasks.
• Documentation and end user training.
• Serve as a subject matter expert.
• Serve as a technical advisor.
• Serve as an escalation point for troubleshooting.
• Develop and oversee project commissioning and testing.
• Participate as a trainer in A3U and other training programs.
• Perform end-user training.
• Other duties as assigned.
