Job summary

TechOpps Inc. seeks a seasoned Physical Security Specialist to serve as SME on security systems, countermeasures, and risk assessment across FPS facilities in the United States. The role covers implementation, documentation, and liaison with federal agencies to ensure robust security postures.

Ideal candidates have ten years in security programs, familiarity with ISC/PSC guidelines, and credentials such as CPP/PSP; travel across regions is expected to support regional offices and field sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; CPP certification preferred.
• Experience with ISC PSC standards and FSL determinations.
• Knowledge of Facility Security Committees and FSC processes.
• Familiarity with NIPP, SSP, and FPS policy directives.

Responsibilities

• Provide SME guidance on physical security design, countermeasures, and life-cycle management.
• Coordinate security design projects with internal FPS teams and external stakeholders.
• Review and recommend security policies, procedures and standards for countermeasures.
• Liaise with regional law enforcement and FPS HQ on ISC standards and best practices.
• Assist in facility security assessments, audits, and countermeasure implementation.
