Job description

Manhattan, New York
Salary range: $100,000 - $115,000

The Senior Physical Security Administrator supports Apple Bank's Head of Security in the administration of organization wide physical and electronic security programs and is also responsible for developing programs to combat security issues, as well as other vulnerabilities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform during and after-hours monitoring, incident response/support
  • Administer electronic security systems including alarms, video, and access control systems.
  • Handle vendor management issues, as assigned.
  • Make visits to our branches to review security compliance, as well as to perform physical security inspections.
  • Train branch staff on security protocol.
  • Assist in escalated branch and enterprise security systems management issues.
  • Partner with the Head of Security in the development of safety and security programs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the industry to identify trends and develop programs to enhance security and combat vulnerabilities within the physical security space.
  • Perform other duties as requested.

SKILLS, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • High School Degree or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience required.
  • Military experience and or industry certifications are preferred; experience with financial institution security highly preferred.
  • Extensive experience with intrusion detection, video surveillance and access control systems.
  • Must have significant knowledge of physical security industry standards and best practices; ability to independently diagnose and solve complex physical and electronic security issues.
