Job summary

Odesa.co is seeking a Senior PHP Developer to join our Billing Engineering team on a full-time, long-term basis. You will own the maintenance, modernization, and evolution of a core billing platform built on a PHP monolith running on Kubernetes infrastructure.

You will troubleshoot production issues, drive performance and scalability improvements, and contribute across the full development lifecycle—from design through deployment—while applying strong OOP, Clean Code, and SOLID principles.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of strong professional PHP experience.
• Solid foundation in OOP patterns, Clean Code, and SOLID principles.
• Experience maintaining and improving complex legacy systems.
• Hands-on Docker and AWS experience.
• Business-level English (written and spoken).

The Role

You’ll own the maintenance, modernization, and evolution of a core billing platform built on a large-scale PHP monolith. This is a high-traffic, business-critical system running on Kubernetes infrastructure. You’ll troubleshoot production issues, drive performance and scalability improvements, and contribute across the full development lifecycle -- from design through deployment.

• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills
