Required credentials include a High School diploma or GED, a Florida-recognized Phlebotomy Certification and BLS certification, with at least two years of phlebotomy experience. This role supports a busy hospital with comprehensive patient care and ongoing education

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Phlebotomy National Certification recognized by the State of Florida.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood samples from patients across age groups safely and professionally.
• Maintain accuracy and proper labeling of specimens for inpatient and outpatient services.
• Ensure equipment and supplies are ready, functional and compliant with procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the department.
