Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking an experienced Phlebotomist III - Floater to support multiple patient service locations in the Wayzata, MN area. You will perform venipuncture and other approved collection methods, while ensuring accurate specimen handling and documentation.

This contingent role offers exposure to diverse settings and a pathway for potential hire. Ideal candidates have at least 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric and geriatric collections, with strong customer service

Qualifications

• 3+ years phlebotomy experience including pediatric and geriatric collections.
• Specimen processing experience required.
• Patient Service Center experience preferred.
• Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel between locations as needed.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Must be eligible to work in the US.
• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood specimens through venipuncture, capillary, and other approved collection techniques.
• Process, prepare, and handle specimens for laboratory testing in accordance with established procedures.
• Verify patient identification and demographic information to ensure specimen accuracy.
• Perform both clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing duties.
• Maintain accurate documentation and required records.
• Travel between patient service centers and physician offices as needed to support staffing requirements.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining a safe, professional, and confidential environment.
