Qualifications

• Certified phlebotomy program completed; 5+ years in clinical phlebotomy preferred.
• Experience with departmental policies, quality control, and safety.
• Able to rotate to other Physicians East locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform difficult blood draws and venipuncture using multiple devices.
• Monitor supplies and keep drawing areas stocked.
• Enter patient data into LIS and verify with insurance information.
• Follow workflow from patient encounter to specimen transport.
• Maintain specimen integrity and ensure rapid, compliant processing.
