Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a skilled phlebotomist to join our hospital laboratory team in Massachusetts. You will verify patient identity, collect blood samples by venipuncture and finger sticks, and ensure specimen integrity with aseptic technique.

Requirements include five years of phlebotomy experience, a high school diploma, and a state-specific phlebotomy certification if required. You will work with PHI, follow procedures, and help uphold our hospital’s reputation for quality patient care.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of phlebotomy experience.
  • BS/BA degree preferred.
  • High School Diploma (or equivalent) required.
  • Phlebotomy Certificate (if required by State).

Responsibilities

  • Verifies test requisitions by comparing information with nursing station log.
  • Verifies patient by reading patient identification.

  • Enhances phlebotomy department and hospital reputation.
  • Works with PHI on a regular basis.
