Job summary

PROtect, LLC in Denver is seeking a lead NDT professional to expand and manage an advanced service line. You will perform and oversee radiography, ultrasonic testing, magnetic particle testing, laser profilometry, and other NDT methods across structures and pipelines.

The role requires 3–5+ years of lead experience in advanced services, extensive NDT expertise, and the ability to lead a field team on demanding projects, including long hours and travel.

Qualifications

• Must have Shear Wave and Phased Array experience.
• Pipeline Integrity experience preferred but not mandatory.
• Applicants must meet weight restrictions to ensure safety when utilizing safety harnesses.

Responsibilities

• Build advanced service line for the Denver office.
• Conduct non-destructive testing of components and materials in accordance with applicable codes and procedures.
• Utilize appropriate NDT methods to perform inspections (e.g., x-ray, UT, PAUT, TOFD, MPI, laser profilometry, visual).
• Select, prepare, calibrate, and operate NDT equipment.
• Identify defects in materials using testing techniques.
• Complete documentation and work orders per protocols and timelines.
• Drive company vehicles and maintain safe driving record.
• Provide instruction to assigned assistants and ensure team safety.
