Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, Florida seeks a Pharmacy Technician to join our team. You will independently prepare and dispense patient medications, including sterile and hazardous compounding, following USP guidelines and hospital protocols.

You will manage inventory, support regulatory audits, collaborate with nurses and pharmacists, mentor technicians, and contribute to patient safety and quality improvement. A sign-on bonus of up to $2,500 is offered, with schedule Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 1+ year hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
• CPHT/PTCB/Pharmacy technician certification required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Dispense medications accurately and safely.
• Prepare sterile and hazardous compoundings per USP guidelines.
• Manage inventory, ordering, receiving, and stock rotation.
• Collaborate with pharmacists, nurses, and clinicians to optimize patient care.
• Mentor and train pharmacy technicians; participate in quality improvement.
