Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center in Richardson, TX is seeking an Allied Health Pharmacy Technician. You will prepare sterile admixtures for adults, handle hazardous medications including chemotherapy, and deliver medications promptly.

Weekend rotation in Dallas or regional site, with opportunities for leadership and ongoing training. Qualifications include a high school diploma, 4 years as a pharmacy technician with 2 years in advanced concentration, and required sterile compounding and BLS

Qualifications

• 4 years of experience as a pharmacy technician and 2 years in advanced pharmacy technician concentration
• Certification in Sterile Compounding (IV) required on hire
• BLS certification required on hire

Responsibilities

• Prepare sterile admixtures for adults using aseptic technique.
• Handle hazardous medications, including chemotherapy.
• Delivers medications timely and efficiently.
• Oversee daily workflow and supervise other technicians.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
