Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists by entering patient and drug information, filling prescriptions, and supporting daily workflow. You will help customers, process transactions, and contribute to inventory and quality improvement efforts.

Under supervision of the Pharmacy Manager and staff pharmacist, you will maintain compliance with policies and participate in clinical services as needed. This role requires valid certification and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Fluent in reading, writing and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists by entering patient and drug information in pharmacy systems.
• Fill prescriptions by retrieving, counting and pouring pharmaceuticals; verify accuracy.
• Assist with scheduling and maintaining pharmacy workflow under supervision.
• Handle cash register transactions and assist customers to locate products.
• Support inventory management and coordination with medical staff and providers.
