Responsibilities

• Under supervision by the pharmacist, assist in the practice of pharmacy while complying with policy.
• Enter patient and drug information into pharmacy systems and ensure accuracy.
• Fill prescriptions by retrieving, counting and pouring medications; verify accuracy and safety.
• Support scheduling and workflow; report prescription errors to the pharmacist on duty.
• Register related sales, assist customers, and handle cash as required.
• Assist with inventory management and coordination of clinical services as needed.
