Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a customer service–focused team member in Alabama to assist pharmacy operations and provide friendly checkout experiences. You will support the pharmacist under supervision, process prescriptions, and help customers with questions and product locations.

The role requires flexibility, basic math and computer skills, and prior retail experience is a plus. Training and growth opportunities are available within the Walgreens pharmacy team.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior Walgreens experience.
• Prefer good math and computer skills for prescriptions and sales.

Responsibilities

• Registers sales on assigned cash register and provides courteous checkout service.
• Assists a pharmacist under direct supervision in processing prescriptions and obtaining patient and drug information.
• Provides customer service, answers questions, and helps customers locate products.
• Performs inventory tasks, maintains shelves, and supports pharmacy operations as directed.
• Handles returns, exchanges, and store policies with customers.
