Job summary

Providence Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Washington is seeking a Senior Ambulatory Pharmacy Technician to provide expertise in supporting Ambulatory Clinical Pharmacy practice. In addition to the regular Ambulatory Pharmacy Technician duties and direct patient interactions, this role is key to supporting both caregivers and the department leadership meeting clinical and operational goals.

  • Upon hire: Washington Pharmacy Technician License.
  • Within 2 years: National Certified Pharmacy Technician certification.
  • 4 years of Pharmacy Technician experience.

Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Upon hire: Washington Pharmacy Technician License
  • Within 2 years of hire: National Certified Pharmacy Technician certification
  • 4 years of Pharmacy Technician experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Coursework/Training: Pharmacy technician program (may be required in some states for pharmacy technicians)
  • 1 year of customer service experience
  • 1 year or more of work experience in an ambulatory pharmacy setting with high stress or high-volume service
  • 1 year or more of experience with prior authorizations, financial assistance, and patient interviewing
  • 1 year or more of experience with EMR and pharmacy information systems, patient monitoring devices, and vital signs collection
