Job summary
Guardian Pharmacy of Minnesota in Eden Prairie, MN is seeking a Director/Manager of Pharmacy Operations to lead day-to-day operations and ensure service excellence for LTC clients. You will oversee staffing, budgeting, regulatory compliance, and technology improvements, while collaborating with a regional team and pharmacy staff to optimize performance.
The role requires a PharmD or bachelor in pharmacy, active license, 5+ years of leadership in pharmacy operations, and willingness to travel up
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD; active license.
- Minimum 5+ years in Director/Manager of Pharmacy Operations.
- LTC experience preferred; other settings considered.
- Experience managing multiple functional areas and high-volume pharmacy operations.
Responsibilities
- Ensure prescriptions are input, filled and dispensed accurately, timely and within budget.
- Maintain appropriate staffing levels to ensure smooth operations within budget.
- Ensure operations comply with state and federal regulations.
- Develop supervisory staff and schedule coverage weekly/monthly.
- Oversee purchasing and inventory; identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with leadership to resolve priorities and optimize service levels.
