Job summary

NFP, an Aon company, is seeking a Strategic Pharmacy Consultant to join the VPS account team. You will serve as the lead pharmacy consultant for assigned clients, building relationships and understanding client priorities to advise on PBM strategy and plan design.

The role involves reviewing contracts and data, identifying savings opportunities, leading account management, and delivering client reporting and presentations. Travel 10-20% and a base salary range of $75,000 to $130,000 are offered.

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist in any state; PharmD preferred.
• 3+ years’ experience in clinical consulting and analysis of pharmaceutical products and clinical programs; PBM/Health System exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead pharmacy consultant for assigned clients; build relationships and understand client priorities.
• Advise on PBM strategy, including plan design, formulary management, utilization management, and market trends.
• Evaluate opportunities to improve clinical outcomes and reduce pharmacy spend through data analysis and contracting strategies.
• Review PBM contracts, financial reports, claims data, utilization trends, and benefit designs to identify risks and savings opportunities.
• Lead ongoing account management, address client concerns, and resolve complex claims and operational challenges.
• Direct implementations, renewals, and plan changes with internal teams and PBM partners.
• Develop and deliver client reporting, presentations, and strategic recommendations for decision-making.
• Represent VPS as a subject matter expert in meetings, presentations, and industry events.
