Texas Oncology is looking for a Pharmacy / Admixure Technician to join our team! This position will support the Sugarland, Texas location . This is a full-time Monday – Friday 8a-5p position with no weekends, or major holidays.
Sugarland is one of the fastest growing areas in Texas. There are excellent restaurants, shopping, parks, theaters and a busy town center with community events as well. We treat our patients and staff as if they are our family, and our team values a collaborative approach to providing personalized, high-quality care for each patient we serve.
This position will be either a level 1, 2 or Sr based on candidate experience.

What does the Pharmacy /Admixture Technician do? (including but not limited to)
The Pharmacy Admixture Tech, under the direct supervision of a physician or registered pharmacist working within a clinic admixture room or licensed pharmacy, the Admixture Tech /Pharmacy Tech performs technical, non-judgmental aspects of medication preparation, distribution, record keeping, and inventory control. Tasks are subject to sequential or final verification by a registered nurse or a registered pharmacist. The role supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, including the Code of Ethics and Business Standards. Specific state laws may regulate that only licensed individuals perform compounding or mixing responsibilities; hence, certain incumbents may be prohibited from these tasks.
