Job summary

Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to join our team in Kentucky. The Pharmacist will provide immunizations, dispense medications, and ensure accuracy and safety of prescriptions in a customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities include reviewing prescriptions, mentoring staff, and complying with state and federal regulations. A strong emphasis on patient care, accuracy, and adherence to Kroger policies is required.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Pharmacist in good standing.
• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
• Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills.
• Excellent Planning and Organizational skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy is a must.

Responsibilities

• Provide immunizations to customers following Kroger procedures.
• Manage district pharmacy operations in collaboration with the Pharmacy Coordinator.
• Dispense medications to customers pursuant to prescriptions and regulatory standards.
• Review prescriptions to ensure accuracy and determine formulas and ingredients needed.
• Verify new medications against patient profiles for interactions.
