Job summary

Kroger Pharmacy is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to join our team in Kentucky. You will dispense medications, administer immunizations, and supervise Pharmacy Technicians to ensure accuracy and compliance with laws and company policies.

Responsibilities include reviewing prescriptions, coaching associates, and maintaining quality assurance while delivering exceptional customer service in a safe, community-focused environment. A PharmD or Bachelors in Pharmacy is required.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Pharmacist in good standing.
• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
• Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills.
• Excellent Planning and Organizational skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy is a must.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Pharmacy Coordinator with district management, coaching, and training.
• Administer immunizations to customers following Kroger procedures.
• Dispense medications and ensure accuracy with prescriptions.
• Review prescriptions for accuracy and determine required ingredients.
• Verify new medications against patient profiles to prevent interactions.
• Supervise Pharmacy Technicians and Interns for accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with laws, policies, and safety procedures.
• Maintain quality assurance and security of controlled substances.
• Stay current with ads and company promotions.
