Job summary

Baptist Memorial Health is seeking a hospital pharmacist to provide expert medication review, patient counseling, and safe dispensing in accordance with regulations. You will support workflow, inventory, and financial optimization while collaborating with physicians to ensure optimal patient care.

The role requires active pharmacist licensure, at least one year of hospital pharmacy experience, and familiarity with EPIC. BLS/ACLS certifications are preferred to support clinical services.

Qualifications

• One year of hospital pharmacy experience or equivalent.
• Current, active pharmacist license or eligibility.
• BLS and/or ACLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide drug therapy reviews and verify prescribed medications.
• Counsel patients on usage, interactions and safety.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and assist with workflow and inventory management.
• Collaborate with physicians to resolve irregularities and optimize therapy.
• Support pharmacy manager in staff training and performance coaching.
