Job summary

Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. in Northern California is seeking an Experienced Remediation Engineer or Geologist (PFAS) to lead PFAS investigations and remedial projects from Oakland, Walnut Creek, or Sacramento offices.

This role demands technical leadership, client coordination, and delivery of multistage PFAS solutions. You will mentor staff, engage regulators, and manage field activities, sampling programs, and design of treatment systems while supporting business development in a dynamic

Qualifications

• 7+ years of direct environmental consulting experience focused on PFAS investigations and remediation.
• Strong remediation foundation with PFAS investigation and remedy implementation experience.
• Knowledge of CalEPA and USEPA regulations relevant to PFAS and remediation.

Responsibilities

• Manage PFAS and remediation projects including scope, budgets, schedules, QA/QC, and client communication.
• Develop PFAS CS Models and investigation strategies with multi-media sampling programs.
• Lead PFAS work plans, data interpretation, and remedy development; oversee pilot studies and full-scale systems.
• Prepare technical deliverables and provide team-level technical reviews.
• Support business development and client relationships with regulators and stakeholders.
