Job summary

Seneca Companies Inc. is seeking a Petroleum Installer III to oversee safe, efficient construction operations and to train lower-level installers on job sites. This role directs junior teams, plans layouts, and ensures timely completion with proper documentation and mobile updates.

You will install tanks and piping, test systems, and maintain high safety standards while operating power tools and heavy equipment in a dynamic field environment. Overnight travel is often required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• 4+ years of petroleum installation experience.
• HAZWOPER 40 certification, CDL-A, UST installer license required.
• Familiar with field concepts, practices, and procedures; able to plan and execute tasks.
• Must be able to travel overnight >50%.

Responsibilities

• Lead jobs by directing junior installers, plan layouts, review status with project team, complete paperwork and update progress in mobile apps.
• Install tanks, piping and equipment; test and dispose of old equipment; maintain a clean, safe site; operate power tools and equipment.
• Provide direction and training to lower-level installers on job timelines and daily tasks.
• Maintain safety on site; conduct toolbox talks and pre-job safety briefs; set clear safety expectations.
