Job summary

JF Petroleum Group in the United States seeks a Sr. Compliance Technician to perform routine and advanced inspections, testing, and equipment certification at fueling locations. This role includes maintaining all certifications, following safety protocols, and mentoring junior staff.

You will ensure timely completion of work orders and proper documentation. Ability to lift up to 60 pounds, travel as needed, and work flexible hours including overnights may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two years’ experience with petroleum related equipment preferred.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office products (Word, Outlook, Teams, etc.).
• Appreciate the importance of safety and following strict safety and technical protocols.
• High personal commitment to delivering quality service.
• Troubleshooting skills/logical problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrate leadership skills and provide guidance to junior technicians.
• Self-motivate, self-start, manages time effectively, and meet critical deadlines.
• Multi-task and is highly organized.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Work independently without constant direct supervision and function effectively as part of a team.
• Properly use standard hand tools and job specific equipment
• Exhibit a professional demeanor, strong communication, and proficient customer relation skills with excellent follow-up practices
• Frequently kneel, bend, handle, reach, stand 60 pounds lift capabilities and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety policies and procedures, reporting unsafe conditions.
• Complete online and classroom training courses.
• Maintain all certifications and licenses, ensuring they are up to date.
• Ensure proper uniform and PPE gear, presenting a professional image.
• Maintain company vehicles and equipment.
• Perform regular and advanced compliance testing/inspections at fueling locations.
• Meet due dates noted in work orders for compliance work.
• Complete all required local, state, or federal paperwork promptly and professionally.
• Follow customer protocols and safety guidelines.
• Maintain inventory levels to achieve a first-time fix rate.
• Complete work orders in ERP and check in/out using electronic devices.
• Provide high level of service to meet customer and company goals.
