Job summary

Petco in the United States is seeking a Senior Sales Associate to deliver exceptional pet care and customer service on the sales floor. You will play a key role in mentoring newer associates and supporting store operations while delivering knowledgeable, compassionate service to pet parents.

You’ll help customers select products, process sales and returns, and maintain a clean, well-stocked environment. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of retail experience, preferably in a specialty environment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and handle cash transactions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver consistent, knowledgeable, and compassionate service.
• Assist customers in selecting products and processing sales and returns.
• Mentor and train new or junior associates and support leadership on floor.
• Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and inventory.
