Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Personnel Security SME/Name Check Analyst to support government vetting operations in the Washington DC area. The role requires reviewing clearance data from multiple sources and producing comprehensive summaries, including oral and written briefings.

You will coach junior staff and coordinate with teams to manage workloads and deliver timely case updates. Candidates should have TS/SCI with poly, 5+ years in security adjudication, strong communication, and proficiency with

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience supporting security clearance processing functions.
• 5+ years of experience supporting the Pelican customer and utilizing systems of record.
• Experience creating and issuing oral and written case briefings.
• Proficient in creating succinct executive summary level documents incorporating multiple data points and sources.
• Demonstrated superior customer service and professionalism.
• Ability to use sound judgment and discretion in the handling of sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Provide thorough reviews of security clearance and personnel data from multiple sources.
• Produce comprehensive review summaries and oral/written briefs.
• Coach less experienced colleagues and share best practices.
• Balance a revolving workload and prioritize requests.
• Provide verbal or written briefings on case status and details as requested.
