Qualifications

• Approximately 10+ years of litigation experience, though substantial relevant experience may be considered.
• Experience handling personal injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice, products liability, or complex civil litigation.
• Jury trial experience as first chair or meaningful second-chair role.
• Substantial deposition experience and handling expert discovery.
• Strong research, analytical, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to take significant responsibility for complex cases and work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop case strategy from investigation through resolution or trial.
• Manage discovery, document review, and complex factual and legal issues.
• Take and defend fact, medical, and expert depositions.
• Collaborate with medical, economic, engineering, and other expert witnesses.
• Research and brief significant legal and evidentiary issues.
• Evaluate damages and present client losses effectively.
• Prepare and argue substantive motions and participate in mediations.
• Prepare cases for trial and act as first or second chair at jury trials.
• Communicate directly with clients and provide practical counsel while working with team.
