Job summary

Suffolk Credit Union seeks a Financial Services Representative III (Personal Banker) to deliver exceptional member experiences, grow relationships, and reference lending and wealth-management opportunities. You will partner with the Assistant Branch Manager to oversee daily branch operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance while serving members in a dynamic retail banking setting.

Successful candidates balancing service, sales, and regulatory priorities will participate in community outreach

Qualifications

• Strong customer service orientation and ability to build rapport with members.
• Clear and articulate communication, both in person and in writing.
• Discretion handling confidential information and adhering to privacy guidelines.
• Ability to work under supervision and support branch goals.
• Analytical skills for loan processing and balance of cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional member experiences to current and prospective Suffolk Credit Union members.
• Build and maintain relationships through acquisition, retention, and cross-selling in retail banking.
• Identify and refer lending, wealth management, and other services to meet members' financial needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve department and Credit Union goals.
• Ensure accuracy, efficiency, and confidentiality in all transactions and tasks.
• Proactively engage with members for sales and service opportunities.
• Perform daily Personal Banker responsibilities including account maintenance and lending processes.
• Balance service, sales objectives, and compliance with CU policies and regulations.
• Support growth through community involvement and branch activities.
• Achieve monthly loan goals ethically, ensuring regulatory compliance.
